Do You Require Advanced Fees?
Depending on the type of case, we may require you to put up a refundable advanced fee deposit before we begin. An advanced fee deposit is like a down payment that we keep in our Client Trust Fund Account. We send you an invoice each month explaining all charges and the work that has been done on your account. We then deduct that charge from your retainer and let you know how much is left. When your retainer has been used or almost fully used, we may ask you to put more down as an additional retainer, or simply to pay the balance of your bill monthly from then on, depending on the case. If your case concludes and there is any retainer remaining, it will be promptly returned to you.
